Before becoming a psychologist, Dr. Watsky-Scileppi worked as a Certified Public Accountant—training that sharpened her ability to think methodically and recognize patterns that are not immediately visible. She brings that same disciplined attention to her clinical work, along with a deep understanding of the pressures faced by high-achieving individuals and couples—particularly the challenge of balancing professional success with personal and relational well-being.

She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami and completed advanced clinical training at The Renfrew Center, Miami Children’s Hospital, and Florida International University’s APA-accredited internship program.

She later served as a University Psychologist at Florida International University, where she provided therapy, conducted evaluations, and supervised doctoral trainees.

Her work is grounded in attachment and family systems perspectives, with integration of cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches when helpful.

She works collaboratively with clients to understand the patterns they are caught in and to create new ways of relating that feel more secure, connected, and sustainable over time.

Dr. Caryn Watsky-Scileppi is a Licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate complex emotional and relational challenges.

She is known for her thoughtful, grounded approach and her ability to help clients move beyond surface-level solutions toward meaningful, lasting change.
